Something a child should never have to go through...

Well the results have come back about the Hirshprung's disease, and everything showed that it was negative. I never thought I could be more happy! But now I'm getting scared about what is causing this. I hope that it is nothing serious but I hope that they can figure out this. It doesn't look like we will be going home anytime in the near future. They don't want to send her home for her to only turn around and be back in the ER. I don't know how the mothers of chronically ill children handle this waiting in the hospital all the time. A friend of mine came to visit today and it helped so much. I am so grateful that I have the ability to stay at home and focus on Gen and to have the wonderful insurance that we have. I feel so bad for all the children I see here because a child should never have to go through any kind of pain or sickness. Today has been a better day because Gen has been able to eat. She's been off of most of her tubes and connections all day. :)
