So I've decided that I'm going to jump on this bandwagon of summer reading lists. I never really considered this because--let's be serious--I'm a stay at home mom and have time to read books whereas some people have school and work to occupy their time. I'm not saying that I don't have responsibilities to my home and family but Gen is at that stage where she will go to bed around eight and sleep till nine so I have some extra time where I can read a book when I want. I want to make myself a summer reading list because I want to be motivated to read books outside my comfort zone. I think I have become complacent with the type of books that I have been reading and I want to jazz it up a bit and read some of those books that you always mean to read but never get around to because let's face it they aren't as action packed as some other books. So without further ado here is a bare bones draft of my summer reading list.
Room

Father's Day
Heaven is for Real
Forget me Not
Heaven is Here
Abarat: Absolute Midnight
Brisingr

Inheritance

A tale of two cities

The Pearl

The Great Divorce
I'm super excited! I love me some John Steinbeck and who doesn't love Stephanie Nielsen? Let me know if you have any books you would recommend.
