I'm actually showing a little now and Genevieve is definitely staying a very active little girl. Eric actually said yesterday that my belly was starting to get really big and I kind of whimpered, and so he went on his little spiel about how I was dissatisfied being so tiny and so far along and now that I'm actually showing I'm not happy. I whimpered because I knew what he would say if I did, and I love watching him get exasperated with me. He's just so cute when he does this. Don't let it fool you though I'm ecstatic to see a round little pouch out there in front of me. It's hard to believe that I'm already 25 weeks along, it seems like just yesterday that I was eight weeks along and dreading waiting forever to find out the sex of the baby. It's crazy to think that the time has gone by so quickly. We've already got her crib set up (minus mattress and bedding) and her changing table put up. We've got some things for her already and I can't wait until she comes. Eric has been able to feel her kick several times now and we're both in amazement at how strong she is.
I couldn't find a crib bedding set that I actually loved so I've decided to make her a quilt and bedding accessories. I'm actually probably going to be making her two quilts because the one that I am planning on making her now is in the shape of a butterfly and isn't very conventional but I absolutely love the pattern. The colors of her room are going to be pastel pink, green, and purple. I can't wait until school is over with for the semester so that I can start making it. I have all the fabric and supplies for it so I just need to start making it. :)
On to other matters though I'm almost done with this semester and so I only have one more semester to go before graduation! Yeah! I only have three classes next semester (and all of them are online) and then I'll be done! I'm excited to finish and stay at home with Genevieve. Next week is our one year anniversary. It is crazy that it has already been a year since I was sealed to the man of my dreams. Heavenly Father definitely loves me for sending me such a wonderful man. Also, Dahlia is getting fixed tomorrow. Poor baby! I hope she gets better before we take off for Vegas for our one year anniversary...
