My little oasis...the baby room!

I am convinced that a baby's room is more about the mom than the baby. You could probably just have a crib and a dresser and be done with it, but it's nice to have a glider and other various things to make it comfortable. Our nursery has finally come together! Yay! I still would like to do some more decorating of the walls and such but I think that I'm kind of wiped out on doing anything more in this room for now. I think that if Gen came tomorrow I would be okay now. We still need tons more stuff such as clothes and everyday items but I think we have enough to get by for a few days. So I'm not too stressed! My dear friend Anne is throwing me a baby shower the first weekend of March so hopefully Eric and I won't need to buy too many more things.:) Here are some pictures of the baby's room, the bumper's I'm making, the finished princess and the pea quilt I made, the car seat we bought, and the stroller too!

Okay, so I guess I can't download the pictures of the quilt and stroller. I'll download them on my next post. Look really close at the walls in the baby's room. Eric and I sponged some butterflies on the wall one weekend. I think they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.
