Happenings....

So...we didn't end up closing on our house until yesterday...we were a little upset about it but took it with stride. We were in Washington from last Tuesday till Sunday because Eric had his Senior Design Project Competition. We didn't win but I enjoyed watching Eric get so into working on something he's so passionate about. He always thinks that I get bored sitting around watching him do that kind of stuff but really I love watching how excited he get's when he thinks about something or gets something accomplished. When he's happy I'm happy. Here are some pictures of the race up in Washington.

On another note we got a puppy. I told Eric that once we got the house he would come home one day to a puppy and he did. We've named her Dahlia. She's part Golden Retriever/Labrador. She is the cutest little thing. She's only seven and a half weeks old but she is big...and she's the runt of the litter! Eric was a little apprehensive when he first saw her but soon she became a daddy's girl.

I forgot to post pictures from Eric's graduation. I am so proud of him for finishing up his degree and working somewhere that he really loves.

My New Life

The Beginning

Hi! I decided to start a blog to let people know what is going on with Eric and I's life. This won't be much of a post since I'm tired and my hubby has fallen asleep on me. One of the most exciting pieces of news is...

We are closing on our house tomorrow!!!

I'm very excited to have our own place and I'm really happy to be able to start my own garden and make this house a home. I'm a little disappointed though because the day after we close we'll be going up to Washington to compete in Eric's senior design project where he will be driving his Baja he helped make in a competition. I know I'll have fun up there and I always love spending as much time with my hubby but I would really like to get started on this house thing. Ah well I know I am very blessed to have these opportunities so I shouldn't take them for granted.

I will post pictures as soon as I can but it probably won't be for more than a week or two.

I saw this clip posted somewhere else and I wanted to share it with you. I'm so grateful for what I have.
